Equipping Courageous Leadership

About William wolfe

William Wolfe is a seasoned leader at the intersection of faith and public policy, dedicated to revitalizing the Southern Baptist Convention and cultivating uncompromising leadership for the 21st century

William Wolfe has spent more than a decade navigating the inner life of the Southern Baptist Convention and another decade within the conservative landscape of Washington, D.C.. This unique dual background positions him as a prominent voice in the ongoing debates regarding Baptist leadership and the role of evangelical politics in American public life.

In early 2024, Wolfe founded the Center for Baptist Leadership (CBL). The project serves to provide vital resources for churches while addressing internal institutional debates over theology and governance. Through the CBL and his various media platforms, Wolfe champions a model of Baptist leadership that is both theologically conservative and culturally engaged

His insights are informed by a distinguished career in federal service, including roles as a Director at the U.S. State Department and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense during the Trump administration. Today, he continues to shape the national conversation through his writing for outlets like Newsweek and The Federalist, and as a regular contributor to Liberty University’s Standing for Freedom Center
